A New Triangulation Algorithm for Positioning Space Debris

چکیده

A single electro-optical (EO) sensor used in space debris observation provides angle-only information. However, position can be derived using simultaneous optical measurements obtained from two EO sensors located at separate sites, and this is commonly known as triangulation. In paper, we propose a new triangulation algorithm to determine position, its analytical expression of Root-Mean-Square (RMS) error presented. The simulation two-site conducted compare the RMS positioning proposed with traditional algorithms. results show that maximum not more than 200 m, has higher accuracy algorithms, nearly consistent error. addition, initial orbit determination (IOD) carried out by data, IOD significantly single-site observation.
